License Expiry & Check In

We know that for many unmanned operations, it is unfeasible to always be connected to the internet for license validity to be checked. Hence, we have designed KH Control to work off-line. On some occasions you will be required to connect to the internet for "license check in". These times are as follows:

• When you first register a license key.
• After the current license period has expired.
• After changing your subscription type.

For example monthly subscriptions will need to be online once after the billing date to update the offline copy of the licence. It will then work offline for a month until the next billing date.

Grace Period

To ensure a seamless operation, a three-day grace period is given after the end of the license renewal period, in which the app will continue to function as normal. This grace period is visible in the app when an orange exclamation is shown on the settings tab icon:

Once the three-day grace period is over the settings icon will change to show a red exclamation:

When this shows the app's features will no longer be available. To regain access to all of the features once more, simply connect to the internet, so that the app can check in with our license server.
