Getting Started

In this section we will explain how to get started with the KH Control app. You will be shown:

• How to install the app.
• How to activate the app by requesting a free trial.

Installation

Download the installer for the latest stable version of the app from the Download page.

Some browsers will not like the downloaded executable and will display a warning like this:

In these instances you will need to click on the three dots (in most browsers) and click "Keep" for the executable to be visible in your downloads folder.

Then navigate to your downloads folder and run the installer: kh-control-<version>-setup.exe. Follow the steps in the installer GUI.

Free trial

With KH Control running, navigate to the settings tab by clicking on this icon in the sidebar:

Hit the "Register for free trial" button and wait for the trial licence key to be generated (you must be connected to the internet). The free trial lasts for 30 days.

Next Steps

Congratulations, your app is now installed and registered! Next thing to do is to connect to your MAVLink data stream. Go to Connection Settings for instructions on how to do that.
